If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. ~Matthew 17:20

Wednesday & Thursday...Fun Galore!

Sorry I missed my update yesterday but we were so tired when we got back to the room last night, we went straight to bed.

So, here's a recap of all the fun we have had...

Wednesday morning, we decided to take a drive to the "Hollywood" sign.  Brad is now known as Mr. Navigation in our family.  The boy can find anything with a street map and an address!  The more we drive around this town, the more I like it.  I love the little out-of-the-way neighborhoods and the houses tucked into the hills.  So cool.

Getting a picture of the Hollywood sign required a little hiking.

I was worried about Spencer being able to get to the top...I shouldn't have been.  He was the first one to the top and ended up taking pictures for people who wanted family photos with their cameras.  I, on the other hand, didn't realize we were going to be hiking and I had on my bedazzled sandals which were pretty useless.

The views were amazing.  On the way down, we had another interesting encounter...with a limo!  The limo brought a girl, who was celebrating her 16th birthday and her entourage, to view the Hollywood sign.  Unfortunately, when it came time to leave, the limo drive had a little trouble turning around.

He ended up BACKING all the way down the road until he got to a driveway where he could turn around.  Only in LA!

Cole had three more interviews with agents so while he and Brad were gone, Spencer and I decided to walk to the movie theater at Universal Studios to see Green Lantern.  I think roundtrip, we probably walked 1 1/2 to 2 miles.  I have realized that I don't have to worry about Spencer...I am convinced he can do anything.

Today, we headed to the Santa Monica pier and beach.
We drove through the Hollywood Hills, went down Rodeo Drive and did a lot of sight-seeing before we got to the beach.

Oh my gosh, this place is gorgeous!

I would NEVER get tired of this view or the weather...it was 78 degrees with a nice breeze.  Cole and Brad got in the water (it was freezing!) but Spencer and I just layed out and watched all the "interesting" people.

Of course, someone had to be buried.  Glad it wasn't me.

Cole has gone to sit in on an acting class tonight with Connor, his Business Manager's son.  I imagine he will be gone until 8:30 or so so Brad, Spencer and I will figure out something to do.

Only two full days left of our vacation.  Stay tuned for more pictures.
