If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. ~Matthew 17:20

The Mountain

On a cold and rainy day in March 2002, I saw "our" mountain for the first time when I met the realtor for a look-see.  Even though the drive to the top left me with chills because of the steep drop off the side, I just knew this was where we were supposed to raise our family.  Eleven years later, I am still in awe of the beauty that we are blessed to wake up to every morning.

School is first and foremost on the boy's minds lately, mainly because they can't wait to finish, but we have found time for some fun.

Walking our road, it is amazing how green everything is...we have more trees in our yard than Studio City has in one square mile!
Mr. Daredevil.  Yes, that is his football helmet!

Love these two boys!

This is the perfect time of year to go to the pond; no bugs, no snakes and it's not hot.  No matter the weather, Rusty is always up for a swim.

Spring brings all kinds of critters out on the mountain.  Kobe's favorite are the lizards which he tries to eat.  Yesterday, I was outside enjoying some quiet time until I looked up and saw he had one in his mouth.  I screamed.  He dropped it and then chased it under the steps to the hot tub.
Thankfully, by the time Kobe got his big booty under the steps, the lizard had escaped and was long gone!

We are on pins and needles waiting to hear if Cole's pilot gets picked up.  We will know by May 15th...fingers crossed.

"Trust in the Lord and do good.  Then you will live safely in the land and prosper."
~Psalm 37:3
