Our friends from Amarillo, Anna and Talton, arrived in Los Angeles last week and spent the week with us at the "crazy condo", as we like to call it. It's like a frat house for grown ups (without the puking, dancing naked on tables or the loud music) that just involves fun things like food, laughing, food, playing Apples to Apples, food, wine and more food. There is never a dull moment when all three families are here and it is perfect because it makes us forget, if even for a short period of time, how very much we miss our families at home.
Cole, Anna and Talton.
Anna and Talton left Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and Coppelia flew in from Toronto at 11:00 a.m.! She is in town for two weeks so there will be non-stop fun until Cole and I leave to head home for Thanksgiving.
On Saturday, Cole had his last day of filming for "Mobster Kids". He was only in two scenes so he made himself useful during his down time.
Paul, the Director, had Cole acting as the Clapper at the beginning of each scene. He loved learning how things work behind the camera.
After church this morning, we accompanied the Shea's to Chili's for lunch and then home so Cole could work on school work and work on a call-back he has on Tuesday for a tv series. Fingers crossed that they like what they see and want to see him again!
Have you had a good week?
"You are the light of the world - like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. Don't hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all."
~Matthew 5:14-15
