Isn't it amazing how a get-away, even for two days, changes your perspective for the better? Our little jaunt up to Big Cedar this past weekend was just what we all needed. We didn't "do" anything special...grilled, watched movies, played putt putt...I think it must have been getting away from our everyday routine that made it so relaxing.
We went with our friend Carol and her kiddos and we stayed in some new condos Big Cedar just built called The Cliffs. One word...GORGEOUS!!! Oh my goodness, everything you need and even things you didn't know you needed, they provided it for you.
The upstairs living room was more than roomy enough for all eight of us but they had a game room/theater room downstairs that was just as big.
One word to sum up the kitchen...fabulous!
The boys have today off of school so we're going to make the most of it...maybe take in a movie and relax before it's back to the grind tomorrow.
